The public bar/restaurant for the people, on the beach.
Ever since the oceans became the people’s mode of trade, the spice trade has characterised the main routes of commerce throughout the world. Spices were used for food, currency, religion, and medicine.
It’s no surprise spice has a huge influence in gregarious tapas style eating that is prevalent in the sea ports of all the spice routes in Asia, Europe Africa and the Americas. Our menu is designed it be a tribute to this food style, with drinks and music to match.
It’s social eating and fun. For the people. On the beach.
Republica has 4 sections... Beach, Lounge, Garden and Rooftop (for events only).
Republica also offers fine dining. This is a sit down table service provided inside. The rest of the Republica receives a smaller tapas and mains menu from the same kitchen.
